Laying foundation for a new health care center
On Jan 11th 2019 a ceremony for the laying of the foundation stone for the health care center in Dhenkanal was hero. The ceremony was hosted by members of Child Health Care Heidi from Switzerland and the Orissa-based Swiss Heidi Foundation. We were pleased to host honorable Cabinet Minister Shri Prafulla Kumar Mallik from Odisha.
Current project:
"Treatment Center Heidi 2018" in Dhenkanal
Children with disabilities often require orthopedic braces for improved mobility.
Children in India also need access to the best technology in this field.
CHCH is dedicated to this task with the project "Treatment Center Heidi".
In cooperation with our Indian sister organization "Swiss Heidi Foundation" We will build a center to promote the treatment for children with musculoskeletal condidions such as Clubfoot and cerebral palsy in the state of Orissa in the district of Dhenkanal. We are also planning a workshop for producing orthopedic aids for children in India. After having successfully acquired a suitable property, the planning phase is near completion. We are looking for more donors and sponsors to carry this project with us.
